Mike Pitts, owner, and founder of Lock N' Load Fitness LLC, has an extensive background in exercise science, health and wellness, injury care and prevention and therapeutic bodywork. He holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in Exercise Science with concentrations in health and wellness and health promotions from Shepherd University and California University of Pennsylvania respectively. He also holds a degree in massage therapy from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. He is an expert in the areas of kinesiology, anatomy, exercise physiology, motor learning and therapeutic massage technique.
Mike has been a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach for more than 20 years; his unique combination of fitness and therapeutic massage are unparalleled. He utilizes both to create a balanced whole-body effect for each person he serves. Mike is comfortable working with all individuals and provides a safe and healing environment for the maintenance of overall wellness, persisting pain relief, and stress management. He has worked with a diverse clientele. With his friendly and supportive style, he has helped countless individuals attain their unique goals. His clients range from kids to seniors, and from first-time exercisers to athletes. Each program is designed to be fun, challenging, and effective.
